How to Use This
- Keep it to 10–12 slides max
- Speak conversationally (don’t read it)
- Bring 1–2 real photos from your post if possible
- End with a specific ask (not vague support)

HOW TO DELIVER THIS (What Actually Wins Sponsors)
1. Don’t “Present”—Have a Conversation
- Sit across a table, not across a room
- Ask:
“How are you currently hiring or engaging veterans?”
2. Make It About Their Business
Tie your pitch to:
- Hiring needs
- Community visibility
- Brand reputation
3. Bring a Specific Ask
Not:
“Would you consider supporting?”
Instead:
“We’re looking for 3 founding sponsors at $5,000—would you be open to being one?”
4. Start With the Right Targets
Prioritize:
- Construction companies
- Banks/credit unions
- Healthcare systems
- Manufacturing firms
- Local franchises
5. Pair This With a Live Event Invite
Close with:
“Come see it in action—join us at our next event.”
Got a detachment that made one of these work — or one where it fell flat? Say so. Comments are read before they go up.
